post surgery care

I will have to have a C section (2 large fibroids blocking my babies path) in April .Can anyone give me any tips (other than the usual doctor advice) on how to heal quickly as I will have university (I think I will take a break from this though) a partner and a new born and I hate just sitting around.

I`ve also never had a C-section, and all I can think of is to stay as healthy as possible. I guess getting enough sleep may be difficult, but try to eat as healthily as possible so that your immune system is as strong as possible and maybe keep taking multivitamins. Good luck, let us know how you go.

i havent had a C section so i dont have any insider advice , but it sounds like your going to have a hard time sitting still then! but please remember , allow your self to heal .. everything needs time , and everything takes time to get back to normal . Best wishes though for a speedy recovery ! and a healthy bub, congrats!
