Hi Mel, can you just check if this is the right product? Its expensive and I wouldn’t want to buy the wrong product.

Hey Bronze Baby, I agree that a healthy diet and plenty of water are important but unfortunately for some of us this isn’t enough to keep our skin under control.

I love Alpha H products, I use their balancing moisturiser with glycolic acid every night and it’s made a big difference to my skin. I love their masks too.

i whack a about a teaspoon full of yogurt onto my face once a week and it does seem to help with the dreaded pimples and its cheap just be sure to buy an all natural one and don’t ever touch your skin with dirty paws or fingernails it just makes them way worse

    Welcome to BH Jag.

Basically your T-zone is the T shape down your nose the l bit, and the top of the T is your forehead. SO your nose and forehead is your T-zone. I have never heard of rareearthminerals before, but if they work for you – it doesn’;t matter who has heard of them, and who hasn’t honestly!! Have you looked through BH reviews?? Ill post the link if they are on BH.

Do you cleanse twice a day?? This and toning(rebalances PH levels) your skin can help reduce whiteheads/blackheads and pimples.

Also look through ‘the acne thread’ in skincare. It has HEAPS of tips etc on treating pimples and products that work.

    Hey Gals,
Posted this in the mens section, and would also like some feedback here in relation to acne and oily skin.

I have always had oily skin (its the Greek in me), and had problems with whiteheads appearing around my nose (my gf calls them the T Zone LOL?).
I started using this new product that my gfs friend put me onto which is a Mineral Based Mask (www.rareearhtminerals.com.au)
My skin feels so much healthier and the oil and acne problem has completely gone.

I wouldn’t mind some feedback if anyone else has used this stuff or heard of anyone using it.

Okay then, I have had my say, and I feel totally outnumbered, so …. Are Va Deci!

i think the easiest way of getting rid of our pimples is probably not using anything but instead having a healthy diet, drinking plenty of water, because after all what goes inside helps the outside 🙂 For sunscreen because you may have quiet a bit of pimples you should opt for a tinted moisturiser, my favourite is FACE THE DAY tinted moisturiser, i cant live without it! In summer its all i use and its absolutely amazing! Comes in one colour which means it suits everyone, you should check it out and for only $10.95 its a bargain for a beauty essential.

    My two faves are:

Alpha-H Liquid Gold mask (used to be called Glycolic Hydrating mask) – this has 12% glycolic which helps to clear your pores, as well as lightly exfoliates your face. It will tingle a bit when you put it on, and you need to build up your skin’s tolerance to it so only leave on for 5 mins to begin with – then you can work your way up to 10 over time.

Alpha-H soothing and calming mask – this is relatively new, and it’s amazing! It’s highly recommended for sensitive skin/rosacea sufferers – as it’s very calming – but it’s also purifying as it uses azulene which has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties.

I also have the clay mask which is a bit more hardcore than the soothing and calming one, but it’s still very good – I prefer to use it as a spot treatment rather than all over (I have mild rosacea).

Basically, I use the glycolic once a week, followed by the soothing and calming one. YOu may find you’re slightly pink after the glycolic, but don’t freak out, it’s normal and will go down – and I find the soothing and calming one helps the pinkness subside.

Happy to answer anymore questions! 🙂

I personally prefer Alpha-H masks – I’ve gotten much better results with them, and they’re a bit cheaper too which is nice! (and Aussie – even nicer! 🙂 )
