Pigmentation from pregnancy!
I’ve got terrible pigmentation marks under my eyes from being pregnant, and my daughter is 6 months old now and there is no change! HELP! Does anyone have any ideas of what I can do to lighten them up?

I know this is an old thread. When I was first pregnant I noticed I have some pigmentation started to become darker on my cheek bone under eye. I feeaked out and went to a beauty therapist. She recommended me the USPA botanical alpha hydroxy cell renewal. I use it everynight and I have just finished a bottle (lasted about 4 months). My pigmentation did not get worse and I actually think it`s lightened. I am so impressed at this range (I`ve got a couple of other things too).
I also make sure I use sunblock every single day!

Sorry girls there is no instant cure to pigmentation and I would be researching as much as possible with respect to products on the market, the last thing you would want is for the appearance to exacerbate.
Am not sure my faith would be in surgery given the number of products on the market so be wary.
I know from experience bio oil works to even out skin tone and keen to try rosehip oil suggested by beauty obsession.

I just remembered that the Clinique Turnaround cream really works well on the pigmentation too. In fact I have never stopped buying this stuff because it has always lightened my skin, even overnight it makes a lovely difference.

Time definitely will help – lots of it in my case!! Also, I found using a very strong sunblock on my face every day – even if I was only going outside to hang out washing – helped immensly as sunlight worsens it incredibly quickly. Any products that contain Vitamin C seem to really actually help break down the blotchiness too but I had to be consistent with all these things. Pigmentation was the only thing I `suffered` from with pregnancy/post pregnancy hormones and I beat it with the above tactics.

hmm I have this problem too… might try asking my doc for a lightening gel. Mine occurred originally when I was put on some hormone tablets in response to sudden unexplained hair loss; it did nothing for my hair (which stopped falling out of it`s own accord eventually) but I went a little nutty and the pigmentation appeared. Sun exposure worsens it now, the only lightening product that seems to work is a pricey Nina Ricci stick-lightener that I found somewhere.

I have pigmentation from pregnancy too. And my baby is one year old!!! I had the same issue with my second child and it went away. this time no such luck. I am using bio oil and find that it is slowly fading the pigmentation.
