Well poor Charlie dog was far too big for the front seat, but I managed to get him onto the floor of the back seats. lol

lol I wouldn`t say antisocial, I`d say shy, he`s not really used to other animals or children, they both seem to freak him out a little, although he does sit and watch the possums, and i think he did attack one once, i think it came in through the balcony door while we were out, and there was possum hair everywhere! he`s an old boy and kinda set in his ways… I can just imagine him clawing his way over my head if I took him this, would probably be pretty amusing to watch…

pink sapphire, i`m in the same boat as u… don`t think my cat would enjoy the day out! Not true really he loves other animals, to the point that i found him only 30cm away from a huge possum on our roof one sunset both staring at each other wondering what 2 do next! I thought it would turn into a fight scene but instead they just kept looking at each other in awe. My kitty is now an indoors boy because he`s friendly personality has seen him have humans do unkind things to him and other cats attack him, for his wellbeing, safety and my bank balance he has learnt 2 live indoors with supervised outdoor time in a sectioned area of yard. apricot3 i know where your coming from, our family dog always took me 4 walks, sniffed other dogs etc. I`ve taken him 2 the Million paws walk etc b4 but he now lives in Tassie with the rest of my family so I miss spending time & walks with him. Would love 2 take him 2 dogs day out so he could socialise, check out the other doggies & have fun. Will let my sister know about the events so she can find out if there are going 2 be any in Tas.

We have the Mattara Festival here in Newcastle this weekend, which we will be taking our young man (the Staffy) who is a ball of amorous energy along – I have to brace myself for this outing, because he takes us for a walk instead of the other way around, make those embarrising choking sounds and procedes to hump every male dog his beady little eyes spy…however in saying that we all love him to pieces and its a lovely day out and the dog comes home fully satisfied!
