PipSqueak….you can still colour your hair after permanent straightening, as long as you only use permanent colours on your regrowth and semi-permanent colours through your mids to ends. Using permanent colour over the top of chemically straightened hair will most often have a chemical reaction, either by damaging the hair beyond repair or cause breakage. So stick to semi`s if having your hair straightened.

Does anyone know a good hair dresser that specialises in permament hair straightening in Sydney? And can you still colour your hair once straightened?

I`ve never been to a salon to straighten my hair, i recommend a GEE HACH DEE (ghd) They work magnificently & use with straightening products like hair balm and so on
