Organising hen’s night – wat to do?

Organising a Hen’s party is bit of a time consuming process. You have arrange the venue, order the food, the drinks etc. So last time my friend organised the hen’s party in a party bus which was awesome. I loved the party bus experience so do my friends 🙂
Next time do consider a party bus for your hen’s party.

I decided against doing anything that costs. We are doing games and entertainment at my house, which lunch and things. Then at night, we are all meeting at the train station and catching the train into the city for some dancing 🙂

I had a friend who was asking over $200 to go towards her hen’s night celebrations. Considering I had another hen’s night on the same date, I was a little taken a back at the cost of my entire day/evening.
I don’t mind paying towards celebrations – especially for drinks/food, but I think it’s important to not go too overboard because as a guest I’m also spending other money on the event (such as a new outfit), PLUS when the wedding rolls around, a wedding gift and a new outfit/accessories – it can all add up! I think anything under $100 is reasonable (for a good friend).

I think high tea is a great way to celebrate in a classy way and the festivities can be taken into the city later if you so desire.
I also had a friend who did a life drawing class and her friends LOVED it!

Needless to say, I didn’t go! But if I was close friends with the bride it cost $75, I’d go.

As maid of honor, I’m organising my best friends hens night at the moment.

So far I’ve organised a pink limo to pick up the bridal party from my place. The limo will then take us to Crown where I am booking a room for us. The rest of the hens party will meet us in the city at crown at this stage if they wish to meet us for dinner. Then we head off to see the Princes of the Night male entertainment show for two hours – and then we get free entry into the nightclubs!

My only problem is finding a suitable place to go for dinner in Crown.

Melbourne beauties – any suggestions?

if ur at crown or near it u DONT need to eat IN the casino area to get good food ther is a ton of places in Southbank and around.
what is ur ideal food style , and ambience and price?

im saying there is at least 20 good places less than 7min walk, so its plenty of options.
