Oral B Hummingbird

I’ve been flossing with the Oral B Hummingbird and recently went to buy replacement heads and found out the product is now discontinued. I’m so disappointed as I loved using this. I went to Priceline, Kmart, Coles, Safeway and no one stocks them any more. I contacted Oral B and they told me the product had been discontinued. I recently found some replacement heads at a chemist so I brought six packs.

What does everyone else use for flossing?

i`ve been using my hummingbird (without the hum though) for years, and last week the top broke off! and while oralB says the item has been discontinued, i know they`re still sold in the rest of the world. if anyone in australia wants to offload one they no longer use, i`d be very happy to pay postage. but how to arrange that?

I have one of these hummingbird things but didn`t find it effective at all – I haven`t used it for so long… I just use the normal type of floss, I prefer it, a much cleaner feel…

yeah i have something similar by braun. i find that it doesn`t pick up all the hairs like waxing does. mind you i brought it probably over 10 years ago so i think they`ve advanced since then. i haven`t tried the newer models.

    What a shame,
I`ve brought gadgets to do with beauty, and been left high and dry,
    with no replacements available,
another waste was the epil lady, don`t if youve heard of it,
it`s electric tweezers rotating fast, they pull out the hair,
not very affective at all and painful! ouch

Yeah it is. I asked Oral B if they had a warehouse where I could go and they don`t. once I run out of replacement heads the gadget will be useless.

It`s so annoying when they discontinue a product just when you use it and love it,
good luck with looking, maybe try priceline or ask one of the staff there whats the go..
Are they bringing something else out to replace it?…

It`s like an electric tooth brush. it`s an electric gum brush. it`s so easy to use and I prefer it much more than the string floss.

Mmmm. i`ve heard of this one,
I have only used the basic string one,
where u pull the string out of the container tear it off, use,
and throw it away, sorry can`t really help with this one..
