I got 2 emails hours apart saying my item has been shipped. I wonder if i will get 2 lol

I just received an order that was shipped by iShopUSA which did not have one item that I had ordered. I was so excited when I opened the packaged and then I was so annoyed. I have contacted them about their error and hope that they will do the right thing and send me the missing item. If so, I will be very happy. If not, I will be furious

I have not experienced a problem with online shopping before. Have you had any bad experiences? Good outcomes or not?

Haha, same thing happened. I ordered perfume from Melbourne to Sydney, and they had forgotten to package my favourite one – Viva La Juicy. I let them know and the shipping was so quick!
As well, I was ordering from asos.com and they had major delays and gave me express shipping 🙂

Hi everyone, this is my first forum post on BH! I recently bought online what I thought was 10 pkts of 20 Veet Wax Strips, full-sized for legs, from 1-Day 3 Deals. Imagine my disappointment when the parcel arrived and I found it contained 10 pkts of mini Veet Wax Strips for THE FACE!!! I don’t use them on my face so have no need for them and there are no returns on purchases. Major disappointment, I thought I had myself such a bargain and I felt so silly as I didn’t read the blurb on the website properly. Agghhh!!!!

Oh no that would have been painful, definitely pays to check and then double check again before ordering items on sale, eek. Welcome to the forums by the way darl, hope you enjoy your time here 🙂

I once bought a “bargain” 18ct gold bangle on EBay. It came in a Prouds box da da da. I took it into our local Prouds to be valued and they said that they didn’t carry 18ct. Then I took it to a small jeweller who tested it. So not gold. Because I had paid for it thru pay pal, they returned my money and I sent the goods back. Silly me. Never again.

I have had a few stuff ups,,,

`paid for a dvd, never showed, never got my money back etc etc… 🙁

wrong items sent, company wouldnt replace.. they were sheets – ordered king size, came packaged as king size, so we washed them, they turned out to be queen size, and because they were washed the company wouldnt take it back, even with evidence…

i have done that before and its bloody annoying. I am now in the habbit of, if they give dimensions actually measuring how big something will be, or if the volume is in oz converting to mls…so often something i was right on the verge of buying ends up not being the good deal i though it was once i look at the dimensions. My laptop died and catch of the day had one for $400ish. It was one of the mini laptops but i had been borrowing mums mini one at the time and thought it was fine. It was 7 inches…I was right on the verge of buying it when i measured how big 7 inches was and it seriously wasnt much bigger than a hand held game. Thank god i measured otherwise i would have been suprer disappointed – that sized laptop wouldnt have been usable as my everyday computer…it was only slightly bigger than my iphone!

I used to collect gemstones and one time on ebay i bought some cubic zirconias. They were stated as being 0.5mm but the photo was so enlarged that i must have thought that they were 5mm. When they arrived they were nothing more than specks of dust. I was so disappointed…though i didnt spend much on them, but more i was excited about what i though were decent sized rocks arriving. I think i just threw my specks of dust away as there was nothing i could use them for!

I totally agree with you, beautystar, about measuring – I nearly got caught out again recently, saw some bargain latex pillows on a website, they looked regular size but when I measured them against a normal pillow, they were much smaller- phew!
