Hi lovely ladies, as long as you you are not doing anything out of the norm, it could be due to hormonal changes in the body. Stress can aggravate and consuming excess amounts of milk product can also aggravate smells.
To cure: FemFresh (Priceline) is a great shower wash to use `down there`. It is gentle, smells fresh and helps to neutralise the P.H balance too so it helps to keep us clean from nasties (I mean think of all the public toilets we use!?). I recommend all gals try it!
Eve (Priceline) is another fantastic brand I have read of which offer a spray, a soap-free wash and also feminine wipes which you can carry in your handbag.
    Hope this helps 🙂

if you have an odour it might be an infection – either bacteria or fungi. it`s best to see a doctor or gyno to rule that out if the smell persists (even with washing)!
i wash the outside with body wash everyday to keep clean but never the inside!! that`s a big no no. you`ll be introducing soap which might be detrimental to your vagina as your vagina contains natual acids which keeps it healthy. also using products going into vagina is a bad idea as it might cause pH imbalance (disturbing naturally acidic vagina) or kill natural flora (natural occuring bacteria and fungi…. yes we all have natural bacteria and/or fungi in our bodies. it`s completely normal! they fight off bad foreign bacteria).
hope that helps! this is from my med knowledge… bottom line is to see a doc!

There are conditions such as bacterial vaginosis that can make your Va-J-J smell like fish and it`s just something that can happen for no reason. Thrush is also another one. Go see your doctor for a check up and she`ll take a swab and send it for testing. This should identify anything medical. Remember your Va-J-J is a sensitive area and using products can imbalance it`s natural state. And your boyfriend`s a brave man for making such a statement!

I`v found the best solution is drinking lots of water combined with using Aqueous cream (which you can get from any pharmacy and is good for maintaining healthy Ph levels and doesnt dry the skin) as a wash down there.
