Nude by Nature Tamanu Oil

Just wondering if any of you have tried the Nude by Nature Tamanu Oil, Beauty heaven doesn’t seem to have the whole range of products up for review. I only just bought this the other day from a pharmacy for $16 and am excited about it. The reason I bought it was because of the list of ingredients such as Calendula Oil, Evening Primrose Oil, St. Johns Wort, Squalene, Shea Butter, Vitamin E.

I bought it to put on my stretchmarks, but the bottle says u can also put it on your face and it actually balances sebum and oil production. As I have oily skin I thought id give it a go as I have used jojoba oil on my skin with no resulting congestion.

It seems to dry into the skin fast, a bit like morrocan oil does with your hair. I have patted some into my skin tonight after a facial, possibly a bit to much but will let you know if it makes me break out over the next few days.

I haven’t been using it long enough to give a good review but I found that it irritated my skin when I used it on my face at night. Now I use it as a cleansing oil in the shower followed by my face wash. Some of the oil is left after cleansing so it give me super smooth skin. I’m not game to use it on my face again and leave it on though as it went red and itchy. Maybe my skin is sensitve after all!

Sorry to hear that!!! well im not game to try it my skin can be quiet sensitive time to time!

The smell is not very nice either. I really prefer my RHO as it’s really soothing for red itchy skin and smells delicious 🙂 Well that’s what I think, some people hate that scent :P. Hows your Kosmea RHO going?

I don’t have issues with oily skin but I would love to hear if these oils are helpful in reducing the appearance of scars… Keep us posted beauties!

I bought this recently but haven’t tried it just yet. At the moment i’m using other products on my face so I won’t try it there just yet but I was considering trying it on a new scar to help minimise it (like rho). Its great to read what you all think about it so far, i’m keen to see how it works in the longer term.

I just got the nude oil today and will let you know how it goes. The ingredients are really quite natural.

I hope the oil works well for you…
I only used it 3 times so obviously I can’t say whether it did/didn’t do anything…
I have heard great things about it, which is why I bought it, but then a friend gave me a whole skincare set for my bday, and so I didn’t want the nude set to go to waste…
