Not that impressed

I was very disappointed when I saw that on the news too. I used to be a big Oprah fan…not any more. How fake.

She certainly did make out that she loved it here but you have to be reminded the Australian government had to pay millions for her to come here, lol so she would have to ‘say’ she loved it wouldn’t she, haha. Publicity stunt??
As for all the good things she has done, yes I have to agree it is great when you see celebrities doing their bit for charity, but they all do it, so I don’t really see her to be particularly any more special than anyone else that is famous. Don’t they all do it because it just reduces their tax more than anything else????

Do you only donate money to charity to lower your taxes?

LOL no I am sure that is not the case but I do know that most tax agents actually advise their clients to do it. I am absolutely certain their are people who donate out of the goodness of their own hearts, most of those are people who have done it tough themselves before or the charity that they are donating to touches base close to home for whatever the reason. However pretty sure that on the same note there would be many that donate just as a tax evasion 🙁

Ohhh welll.. I stick by my opionion ….I stay positive and she has done alot of good which is more than u can say about alot of ppl everyone interacts with everyday so i decide not to pick at someones flaws especially when they have been so generous in the past…..people just seem to enjoy focusing on negitives!
