Night Cream for 20s

Hi beauties!

I am unsure whether there is an existing thread on this topic yet…if there is, I seemed to have missed it. I can’t find it anywhere!

Anyway, I have heard about starting anti-aging routine from around the time we are in our 20s. Well I’m well into my 20s now (23) and hoping to start using night creams.

I never considered it before. I do take proper care of my skin throughout the day but never at night. When I research around, it seems a lot of the night creams are targeted at mature skin which I don’t want.

Can anyone recommend me any good night cream products at affordable prices?

Thanks!

I use the Palmers eye cream and night cream as well. If your skin is still really teenagey/ oily id probably skip the Palmers night cream but it works well for my combo/oily skin. I guess the problem at this age is you can’t really tell if the products are working or not as they don’t have anything to try to reverse yet! My completion feels great with my skin care routine though 🙂

I use Lush Angels on Bare skin cleanser
    TN Dicksons Witch Hazel
    Palmers eye cream
    Nivea Aqua Sensationa Day Cream
    Make up
Remove make up with washer or if it’s heavy make up wipes
Lush Angels on Bare skin cleanser
    Nutrimetics scrub (twice a week)
Coconut oil/sugar lip scrub (four times a week)
    TN Dicksons Witch Hazel
    Palmers eye cream
    Palmers night cream

Phew I’m exhausted thinking about it! Im 25 next month.

I agree! I use Olay night cream (I’m 27, with skin that can dry out but also produces a fair bit of oil in the t-zone) and it’s really good – lightweight, but keeps skin soft, and it has a nice scent to it, too!

i am 23, turning 24 this dec, and i have been using eye cream, rosehip oil and day and night cream.

    this is my regime: (DAY)
Cleanser- can be with any cleanser
IZ tinted moisturiser- on lazy days that i dont feel like wearing foundation, the 30 SPF is a plus!!
    Revlon Colorstay foundation
Australis ready set go finishing powder to set my tm or foundation
face of australia foundation in powder (like bronzer so i just brush around for colours)

    Night:
    jojoba oil-to remove makeup
    hydrosol toner
A’kin rosehip oil- about 3-4 drops for face and neck and decolletage
    Palmer’s eye cream
Palmer’s night cream or even Natio green tea night cream

Face mask once a week and face scrub about once-twice a week as well.
Currently all these are working for me, and i am trying to start young with the anti aging products just to prevent immature aging on my skin.

What a great skin care routine Vivalicious… such dedication to keep your skin beautiful…

Currently I am loving the Innoxa Sensitive Skin Care Night Cream.
In the past I have used the Nivea replenishing night care cream which feels lovely but is quite heavy and left my skin with an oily residue. I love the feeling of a soothing night cream and my skin feels hydrated.

Thanks beautilicious. I don’t always follow this every night,I have my lazy days, but most of the time I stick with these.and jojoba oil n the hydrosol toner have only been added to my regime real recently. But as currently I’m trialing the simple range from bh,I’ve stopped all this and just used the simple range day and night.we’ll see how they go.:)

I’ve been wondering about adding anti-aging to my day/night routine too, but at this stage I think I’ve got it covered with what I do: eye cream, Clinique’s Turnaround concentrate and Skinstitut vitamin C powder mixed into my DDML/DDMG plus sunscreen always in the day.

Very tempted to try the A’kin Cellular radiance though. It sounds very light and I hate the feeling of layers of gunk on my face at night. If I’m sticking to my pillow I’ll wake with a drity sweaty face. How do others combat this?

I haven’t had any issues with that!

I’ve been using the New Directions Nutrient Night Cream for like 2 nights now, and I guess I agree with Melmeko. It’s quiet an average product..then again it’s my first night cream and I have no point of reference. It’s much thicker than my QV day cream but absorbed really quickly so I don’t have layers of gunk on my face, nor a sticky face.

You’ve got quiet a range of products there, gemo. I can’t believe there’s so much skincare steps to do just to maintain healthy, radiant skin.

Just purchased: Nutrient Night Replenishing Cream from New Directions. It was very cheap and I think they have very good ingredients.

i’ll keep you updated on how I go with them!

Good luck, I have only tried one of their base skin care products, where you add your own oils to them, I found it to be average, but it could be heaps of fun for those who like to experiment with essential oils etc.
