Hi msrayray, that button is for threads that you think need to be reported, that have unnecessary profanity, advertising etc. If you read the “read me before you post” at the top of each forum, that should help explain it a bit better 🙂

I’m still relatively new and this is the first forum I’ve ever joined so I have a question too. I was wondering how one would start a thread? Can’t seem to figure it out! Also, this may be a silly question but what is the “Alert Moderator” link for? Thanks.

A friend of mine put me onto this site. I am looking forward to joining the group. I do have a couple of questions. I know my friend receives regularl emails – do I have to do anything to ensure that I receive them also. Also I was looking at the competitions. Are there terms and conditions? Also is there always a date asigned to each competition covering when it is going to close, Looking forward to spending time here. Thanks for the help.

Welcome to bh! I’ll add you to our newsletter database so that as of monday you’ll receive our main newsletter on a monday, and our mini beauty update on a thursday.
With regards to competitions, we run a fair few – those promoted in the newsletters generally have a code attached to them (so make sure you write it down before you enter!), others are promoted in blogs, articles and videos, so it’s really just a matter of reading and watching to find out what great prizes you can win. Oh and yes, we do put an end date on all our competitons.

Hey!! :):) Do not worry you will start to get the newsletters soon! you dont have to do anything to get them! I’m not a competition expert but in the newsletters they have codes that you use when you enter some of the comps. 🙂
