New camera!

Oh thanks music that sounds really good! it might be a few yer until i will have the time to do it, even though i could part time because of all y studies but it is def a serious interest . mum knows a lot of photographers, and my uncle is one too . unfortunatley i cant get any tips off him as he is always travelling and lives in QLD, but i will ask mum about her friends and my sisters boyfriend is also an ammature photographer , so a lot of inspiration around! LOl. Living in tasmania is really great too, because there is so much natural wild life and scenery to photograph.

It`s a good interest to pursue, Style Queen. My brother started with tagging along with the more professional photographer on his friend`s weddings, then he offered his service for free for church events and other weddings. When people saw the results they liked them and started offering him money to take their photos professionally. That`s how he got started years ago. So if you`re interested to pursue it more seriously, you might want to do similar things, SQ! 🙂

Thanks whaee 🙂 It`s cool your brother does wedding photos music, id be interested in that too i think. I just love taking a classic photo in black and white( or sepia) there is something really old style( obviously lol!) and classic about it .

I love my digital camera, it is the Canon Powershot A500 (came out last year)…it`s very basic but it does the job. I love photography, have never studied it but it`s a great amateur hobby of mine LOL. Enjoy your day and your camera 🙂

Elmo & Style Queen, I LOVE black & white or sepia photos!!! You should meet my brother, he`s another passionate photographer and he does it to make money on the side. He`s done many weddings and have to say that he does a superb job, artistic and all… I keep on wondering who would be the photographer on his wedding next year, I guess he would probably hire one of his photographer friends for a token amount…. I don`t know much about cameras, I just enjoy seeing the results. Hehehe….

Yeh it`s the best thing ever – we were full on old school in our art class and had to develop our own film too – it`s such a feeling of accomplishment when you produce this beautiful pic (it was all black and white photography – which is my favourite anyway!) which you`ve done ALL by yourself!

Oh yay another passionate photographer! I know i cant imagine how awesome it woul be to have a darkr oom and develop them my self. I really want a digital and a film canister SLR! A bit greedy, but that way i can have more choice. I`d love to get black and white or sepia tone film for an slr and take old style photos. On my cybershot you can watch slideshows of all the pics on the camera, and change or upload music and the settings. So you can set it to nostalgia and it will be in sepia tone or blck and white, or stylish where it shows the pictures in creative ways. I love it so much! as soon as i can id like an slr but i am very content with the cybershot too!

It`s my dream to one day own a digital SLR – I did photography at school and it`s my absolute passion – I spent more time in the darkroom than anywhere else all through year 12! One day I hope to have a darkroom in my house so I can develop all my own photos of everyone. Digital cameras are great for the convenience but there`s nothing like producing your own pics by hand!
