naturally volumised hair! help!

I know people like to have some body in their hair, but as for me i would actually for once like it if my hair didnt volumise, even when i heat style it. My hairdresser even said to me that my hair somehow natually volumises without the use of product. I just want to have sleek, straight hair with any products out there that supposedly work. Im up for anything. thnx

Redken is awsome in my opinion, I am sure you will find many products in their ranges to suit 🙂

You want some good anti frizz products – I would be getting shampoo, conditioner and serum to weigh down the hair. You may find it causes a bit more oiliness, due to the heaviness of the products, and there’s not much you can do about that – just make sure you keep the conditioner and serum on the ends only.

ye mel Well i dont use any serums in my hair at the moment, because im scared that it would cause oiliness. Ill check out the redken range and see if the align 12 works.

I have hair like yours, it is frizz which is the reason for my BIG hair. It frizzes up within hours of blowdrying straightening. Use a good blow dry lotion Redken align 12 is by far the best.
I used to get my hair razored, it takes off volume and gives natural looking definition. It may cause split ends.

are you saying you prefer not to have volumised hair? Maybe try using a curling iron or a very thin straightener, get right up to the tips roots of the hair and style it so the roots go inwards, towards your scalp if that makes sense. Usually people who need volume style up and out, so maybe if you style the opposite way it will work. I have no idea if it will work, as I need volume!

Do you use a hair straightener and a straightening balm/serum, if so what brands have you tried so far??
