nail primer!

i don’t paint my finger nails because they absorb colour even through base coat ( i use manicare) . toes are fine it’s just my fingers. i don’t like really light shades either as they make my fingers look stunted.
can anyone recommend a ‘stronger’ base or system.

rimmel 60 second nail polish. i do my toes with it and i only have to remove it coz the nails grow so fast not coz it`s chipped.

whenever i paint my nails it comes off realy easy and by the end of the day i have to remove it coz it looks so bad. If i was just to touch it hours later with anything it dents or scratches off. Any suggestions?

Creative Nail Design have a really good product which is called Sticky. I`ve found this to be a really good base coat and the nail polish really adheres to this product and gives a lasting effect.

Try O.P.I, which I use, and has a very professional finish, or just paint them clear, sometimes its just good to let your nails have a rest from the nail varnish, just like its good to have makeup free days..

Maybe try 2 coats of base coat. If you are using a base coat your nail colour shouldn`t be going through – as thats what it`s for. If you have been painting your nails for a long time your nails will eventually have a yellow tinge – even with a base. You can get rid of these stains by soaking your nails in lemon juice – it will brighten and whiten your nails – just make sure you moisturise after and use a good cuticle oil.
