yeah i have similar skin and i`d definitely recommend dermalogica – i started on it a few months ago and my skin has improved heaps. however, i`d start on just the overnight clearing gel first because i find that using all the lotions is too drying for my skin and my skin is super-oily. so start small (also good coz they`re a bit exxy!)

Darkblue – my best advice is to see a beauty therapist – it`s really hard self assessing your skin – I`ve done it for years and made many, many mistakes, and spent many useless dollars! The good thing is – seeing a beauty therapist they will not alone assess your skin really well and tell you exactly what to use, but if you react to any products – any good therapist would actually refund your money on that product and give you a different one instead. I am really loving products from Ultraceuticals – and they`re particularly fantastic for acne-prone skin.

Hi DarkBlue
I have a similar skin type.
If you can afford it, get onto Dermalogica. It has been a miracle worker for me!
A good clay mask would also be nice to add to your routine. If Dermalogica is a bit out of yourprice range, try Cetaphil from chemists or priceline.
Again it`s pricey but ultraceuticals even skin tone has just been introduced to me and this is great for fading acne scarring and helping the complexion all round.
Alpha H have great products for your skin type also! -

I also would recommend natural products and steer clear of cheap chemical filled products that strip your skin of its natural oils, which can then make you break out or become oily. I like Komea as it is gentle and would be ideal for your young skin. Check out the website here: http://www.kosmea.com.au/aspx/home.aspx

Darkblue – definitely stay away from the harsh brands like Clearasil & Clean and Clear, they usually cause far more trouble than they`re worth. Try to stick to some more natural products, free from nasties like mineral oil and parabens. If you`re able to purchase online, “”Beauty and the Bees””:http://www.beebeauty.com/ have some great products, I`ve been using their leatherwood honey and coconut cream cleanser. Otherwise try a healthfood shop or somewhere like that; Miessence is another good brand. Some gentle natural skincare can work wonders.
To target your more specific problems, I`m not really sure. I used to get the colourless bumps as well, but eventually they went away. I`m still not sure how, or what they were, so I`ll be watching this for some more information I think 🙂
The marks from previous pimples is probably scarring (I have them all over my chin..) so massaging Bio Oil or rosehip oil would help with that, I think.
Hopefully some of the other ladies will be able to help you some more 🙂 Good luck honey

I`m 15 and my skin type is combination. Right now I`m using St Ives Blemish Fighting Cleanser, Biore Triple Action Toner and Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisture for Combination Skin. I don`t really use treatments or masks or anything. Previously, I`ve tried Clearasil Skin Perfecting Scrub, Biore Pore unclogging Scrub and Clean and Clear Continuous Control Acne Cleanser.
