Mothers Day.

Hi all,
So mother’s day is fast approaching, and i am absolutely stuck as what to buy my mum!
Usually it’s flowers, chocolates, sleepwear, that kind of stuff, but this year I want to do something different.
I was wondering what all you beauties are getting your mum’s, maybe i could borrow a few ideas 🙂

My sister and I have put in and got my Mum a really nice digital photo frame. She’s been wanting one for ever. And I created an original card ( a large one) from Moonpig, with pics of all the family and some really lovely writing on it.

My mum just finished chemo and she keeps complaining her skin and hair and nails are in poor condition. It took me forever to make up my mind as to what to buy her. Luckily http://www.fragrancesandcosmetics.com.au was offering express delivery for skincare so I got mum heaps of skincare, moisturisers, treatments, serums etc, we both live in different states and so this makes it so much easier 🙂 Hopefully she can work her way through them and let me know which ones she enjoyed the best 🙂

What a lovely idea and so thoughtful. So sorry she’s been ill and it will take yonks before she’s quite better. We will keep you and your Mum in our thoughts. All the very best.

Sounds like an aweosme gift Paula! I hope your mummy is getting better.

I find buying for my mum hard too especially because her birthday is 2 days after mothers day! Makes it tricky. This year I am thinking of getting a massage voucher, some sort of anti ageing/night cream pack…..hmm….Im bummed I missed the estee lauder gift but Im hoping the Elizabeth arden one looks good in person. And then we usually take her out for dinner or breakfast!

Sorry to hear your mum has been so sick Paulabearb. I hope she has a full recovery now she has finished her treatment.

On the subject of presents, I think most mums would love a spa treatment or massage and a bit of time to themselves. As a mum myself, I think that would be lovely. On the day though, all I really ask is to spend it with my little boy and my husband. 🙂

My mum loves collecting crystals anything. I have always bought her crystals but this year i got her something different. She’s a really religious person thus decided to get her a set of idols of her gods for her big prayer place. I am sure she will love them.

Next on the list is a sewing machine for her. She has been after one of those for so long now. Always telling me she will buy one. Her birthdays coming up in June.

That is sad news of her being sick . chemo does stripthe body of the abilty for good upkeep.
just reading this, outside of her gifts , it will bea help for her to get some more goodies pumped in – u can suggest she take a good hair skin and nails supplement pill. i like the one from blackmores.
