Money for Jam- or make-up or shoes…

Has anybody been watching Money for Jam?
I have just found out centelink is reducing my family payment by $150 a fortnight because my son will soon be 16! Stinks! Because he is still has over 3 years of school left.That 150 was due to cover my other sons $150 week pre-school fees.
I am going to have to start tightening my shopaholic belt or come up with some cash without actually getting a job
I have joined survey and focus group sites and do a little mystery shopping.I hav watched money for jam a couple of times but not really found anything suitable from it.Any ideas?
I may have to turn in my shopaholic status and become a cheerful cheapskate!

Thats what i think too- I think the only way he will go 4 a job is if his dad stops buying his games/dvds etc- if that will ever happen…

i worked at coles and i got alot i saved to go to america 🙂 I loved it and they work around ur school so if u need a week to study then they wont put you on and it gives you great skills for the future

Did you get a job? My son talks about getting one when he wants something and then when I bring it up he says he doesn`t think he can have a job and study too 🙁 He is given eveything he wants by his dad and see`s no point in working and giving up computer time.

thats what heppend to my mum when i was 16 but then i got $240 every second week and i had to pay for everything i wanted and i thought that was a good idea
