Moisturising body wash for sensitive skin?

Hi BH beauties!

I have very sensitive skin prone to eczema and dryness and am looking for a body wash or bar soap to use everyday that might help. I’ve been using a QV one but it doesn’t smell very nice and leaves a film of paraffin wax on my body which makes me sweat during warmer weather. Any recommendations you have would be great!

Thanks xxx 🙂 🙂 🙂

I know this thread is old but I just have to agree with you all on the dove triple moisturising body bash, especially the new formula they just bought out. It’s not as thick as the old version and it has a nice smell to it now as well. Still just as hydrating though which is good, I’m glad that didn’t change!

Ha!! It’s a shame because they really do smell lovely but the bottles are enormous!

I’ve started using Dove Triple Moisturising Body Wash and asbsolutely LOVE it! I barely need an extra moisturiser on my body (just a small amount of Moo Goo cream on the eczema patches). Really happy ladies thanks!!!!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂

I was going to suggest the Dove Triple Moisturising Body Wash as I have been using it for about 8 months now and you are so totally right it, you hardly need to use normal moisturiser as it is so good for thirsty skin, and the smell is lovely. Not at all overpowering.

there are new products that have just come out called goats milk, they have a soap and body wash, and its chemical free, and for dry, itchy sensitive skin, the bodywash is $10 but the soap is $3.60 if you want something cheaper,

Universal brands does a really good one that’s free of all harsh chemicals, i think it’s called body sensitive or something, it works really well, and is in gel form, you can get it at some coles and woolies.

We could start a 2nd hand store for unused A’kin body washes….haha.

Thanks Roxy and Mel! I do like the Milk Wash for my face but find it’s not moisturising enough for washing my body. I might try the Dove range (I saw a triple moisturising one at Coles last week) and see how it goes. I agree about the Akin range too – I have a huge bottle of Sandalwood body wash that’s been sitting in the shower for ages. I keep hoping my brother will use it lol

Agree with you mel that the A’kin body wash is not one I would try again. Do not like the fragrance at all. Used a quarter of it and put it away which is silly because I am unlikely to use it again. Never know what to do with those products particularly as I hate wasting them.

Sure of it they are not cheap, mine is still in the bathroom nearly full, leave it in full view in case of visitors or something in hope that someone else will use it, haha.

I was going to say QV Sensitive but your right it doesn’t smell much at all. The best smelling one is MooGoo Milk Wash, mmm love that stuff 😉 Another one I have atm is an A’kin one but I am not overly fussed on the fragrance because I find it to be too naturally scented (if that makes any sense, haha, you know like it has a real lavender essential oil smell to it)
