Thank for the info Roxy. I`ll definitely have a look at the By Terry range next time I`m up that way. I didn`t really have a chance to carefully look at everything the other day as a was with a friend and felt a bit guilty about indulging my beauty obsession in her presence. Love to little Sushi x

Last year a Mecca store opened just 5 minutes walk from my home and I have to resist going in regularly. I already know the staff quite well and I highly recommend that you go to one of their events where you can have a fabulous makeover. I have attended two and both were great. One was with Terry Ginsberg, the creator of By Terry cosmetics (she created Touche Eclat for YSL) and she was delightful and selected the colours for my makeup which was done by a Mecca MUA. Fabulous! The second was with one of the top guys from NARS cosmetics who also was charming. You pay a fee but that is redeemable with a purchase. Oh and you always have a lovely glass of champagne while being made up and there is a great buzz in the store. Such fun! x

My goodness Rox! I can imagine how tempting it would be for you to be popping in there all the time! Do you have a favourite skin care range at Mecca? The Cantecaille serums the lass suggested to me were lovely, but were between $150-$170 – for that price I`d prefer a moisturiser that does everything rather than a serum. Are there any that you particularly love??

Definitely pay them a visit if you`re in the market for new skincare/makeup and have a generous budget. The staff are friendly and knowledgable:)

I went to the Brighton store on the weekend and was amazed by alll the brands that aren`t really sold in any other stores here – it was almost like being overseas!! One of the assistants gave be a couple of samples of the Chantecalle serums which are heavenly. I just wish they weren`t so pricey!

Wow, are they really that great? I`m usually a clinique and estee lauder girl, but you guys are tempting me!
