Makeup Spoiled?

it really depends on what it is, powders are amazing at lasting, but then things like mascaras need to be replaced reguarly.

check the label as most should have a `use by` logo

I was wondering the same thing! I bought a whole load of samples of revlon foundations of ebay last week and when I checked their expiry date, they didn`t have one but it said that it`d been made in 2004! I`m too chicken to use them…

Just think, it probably sat in the shop for a while before you actually bought it anyway!

it might separate out a little (the pigment particles may sediment to the bottom), but if you just give it a good shake, it should be fine.

Stupefiant – preetty much all products these days come with a useby on the back – which looks like a little open container with a number in it. That indicates how long you have to use the product once you open it – however if you haven`t opened it, it should be absolutely fine to use.

Stupefiant it should be fine if you havent opened it. Its when you open makeup and the air and bugs get into it that you can only use it for a certain time before replacing it. About every 6 months for foundation/concealer.

I would give it agood shake and see what the texture is like. Then you can decide on wether to use it or not. But it should be fine. Its like the makeup sitting on the shelf before you buy it.
