Make up brushes + sponges

Help!!!

I have always been using a blusher brush for my loose powder + blusher. Use my fingers/cotton bud for eye shadow. I had always had a makeup brush set + sponges, yet i don’t know whats brush is what brush and how sponges are used in the best manner. Can someone help?

    I have the 109 brush from mac which is for contouring but i see it`s getting famous for foundation application and it gives such a flawless look and reaches into the places you can`t really get when your using a big brush so i really suggest it!
