LUSH SOAP

Hey beauties

Just wondering if anyone can help me.
I won a lush soap just after xmas.
It was around 200grams maybe just under

I started to use it a week ago. Once everyday also john used it around 3 times before i told him not to lol.

Its now all gone no more 🙁

I just wanted to know how long do they normally last?

I love the one i had but dont want to spend alot on buying bulk in america as there prices are almost the same as ours

Love Mel

I just started using Lush and I like their soap range.. unfortunately it seems that their soaps don’t last very long! I’m currently using Ice Blue Soap which is perfect for summer. But after only a couple of uses, it is very obviously has shrank in size. Now I’m trying to use the soap only occasionally, I’m savoring it because I don’t want it to finish too quickly 🙂

thx Chicklet, I will try to cure the soap next time before I use them 🙂

I often find that their soaps need to be ‘cured’ and this helps them last longer. All this involves is leaving them unwrapped for a period of time before you use them, and it does seem to make a difference.

porridge soap? sounds awesome. I haven’t been to lush in ages as I don’t think there is one close to us here. Probably just as well.

I really wanna buy some lush soap now but which is the best one if I you were to choose one?

Honey I Washed The Kids is delicious!

    Or the coconut one.

    Or the porridge one.

Careful, if you walk around smelling them all you might get a bit carried away. 🙂

I just brought myself a soap from Lush last week. My first thing I’ve brought off them. I got the Sea Vegetable soap and it’s OK. I use it and leave it in the shower and it hasn’t shrunk much over the last 7 days, I think it will last at least a month or more.

Just got a Lush soap called Gingerbread House (thanks to Glamglee) and while I haven’t tried it yet my first thought was that it wouldn’t last that long. It seems slightly soft and a little grainy like it will dissolve very quickly, but that’s just first impressions.

I’m pretty sure the Gingerbread House isn’t a soap – if it is the same product as I think it is, it is a bubblebar that dissolves in the bath.

Like Chicklet said, Gingerbread House is a bubble bar so it won’t last as long as regular soap. I suggest breaking it into 2 or 3 pieces and using just one piece at a time. You just crumble it up under a running tap and you should get a nice bubble bath!

oh and you get the most out of bubble bars if you grate them up whilst the taps running, i usually start the tap then grate it with a cheese grater straight away and the bubbles usually end up like a meter tall by the times the bath’s done, it’s epic 🙂
