Lipcolours to make your teeth appear whiter

Ok guys…here’s the challenge. What lip colours have you found that make your teeth appear whiter? Brands and colour names please!

I want to check some of these out, after reading the article on Spring Make-up for your age, and the info on the neutral option…that sometimes being neutral makes your teeth appear more yellow. I’ve noticed this more recently…but only when I’ve looked back at the photos. Scary!

The darker and deeper the colour the more whiter your teeth will look I would recommend going for a plum or a dark deep burgundy red – I tend to like to go for more matt colours as they tend to put more focus on your lips than your teeth. If you are able to get Australis Colour Max lipsticks they are a semi matt and have a range of colours that would suit this – just ensure that the colour you choose has a blue undertone and choose a colour that suits your skin tone.

I hope this helps (as when I was a smoker my teeth werent as white as they could be and I found sticking to those rules helped)

Oh woah so many great recommendations!! It always amazes me how using different tonal colours can emphasize or deemphasies or create an illusion something is lighter, skinnier etc. Thanks for the tips everyone!

Like Glitter Girl said the purply pink colour is good so the 500 berry splash that I mentioned is a perfect purply pink if your not sure what type of colours they are and so is the Rimmel Candy 002. For a blue red berry-bella in the maybelline new york shiny.licious is a perfect blue red.
Have a great lip glossing day hon!
    Love Flutter.
