Light Roots!

if you’re really unhappy with it and don’t know what to do it may be time to consult a salon. i did this once to my hair, trying t dye it a shade lighter and only the roots really took. i ended up dying it a much darker brown which was nice and once constant colour. colour can be a tricky thing though. consult a hairdresser, even if you just ask what you can do yourself next time you go in for a cut.

hi BO it all dependes on how much lighter the roots are, if it was a lot lighter in salon they would most likely fill the colour band with a red dye, usually semi -permanant, then colour over the top with another semi close to what you want it to be.

hope that helps a little, maybe pop into a salon and see what they suggest.
