lather, rinse, repeat

Hi girlies,

the other night i washed my hair, and accidentally shampood twice, it seems to have left my hair in much better condition.

So I guess if I’m wanting to know if anyone else lather, rinse, repeats, and/ or if the difference is all in my head?

thanks for that Kim11, it`s good to know it`s not damaging 🙂
I have to say that since continuing with the lather, rinse repeat, my hair definitely feels better, smoother I think is the best way to describe it.

this is funny i was just wondering the same thing beause the other day i had my hair done in curls at the hairdressers and they used a tonn of hairspray so when i washed it out i shampooed twice and my hair dried really nice and then one of my friends who is an apprentice hairdresser told me you should always shampoo twice so i think i will continue to do it.

I always shampoo and repaet, otherwise my hair get`s oily quickly, another good tip is to leave shampoo in for 1 minute to combat hair getting oily quickly

just a question, because every time i was my hair regardless of what i use or how i wash it it always turns out dry and frizzy whether naturally dried or with a blowdry….just wondering what shampoo/conditioners everyone uses?

No it doesnt b.k, well not that i am aware of. you only need a tiny bit of shampoo each time, so dont overdose. And if you massage well and are using the right shampoo and conditioner it shouldnt strip your hair.

I always wash my hair twice, it seems to stay cleaner for longer, and my hairdresser said I should always do that. I don`t seem to run out of shampoo first though, because I use quite a lot, I like my hair to feel all smooth and covered in conditioner – I reason if it`s tangled when it`s being conditioned, it`s not going to be smooth when it`s rinsed out!

I just wash normally and it does fine althought i`ve never really tried shampooing twice, i used to blowdry my hair everyday as it keeps it straight (and my fringe won`t go all over the place if i let it dry without blowdrying) but i guess it`s been damaging my hair so i stop that routine. Now i only dry my fringe with the blowdryer i can never let it dry by itself it goes too messy lol

Me too pink sapphire I thought I must have been wasteful. But yeah I just seem to need a lot more conditioner than shampoo.. Oh ok, thanks Elmo. I just assumed more washing would equal stripped hair. Good idea on the bigger conditioner bottles!
