Larangitis..who else gets it?

Sometimes I get larangitis where my voice is croaky and gone for about a week. I have it at the moment and was wondering how many others get this. When it happens to me I feel totally fine other than having no voice.I don’t have a cold or a fever or any other issues just no voice!!! Does this happen to others as well or am i just weird?

Good to know I’m not the only one..I’m still croaky and it has been a week now!! What a pain.

I have had it a couple of times, same as you with only no voice. Alwayyyys in winter!

No your not weird Nyxen.
I have no idea what causes it, it happened to me when my kids were primary school age…they loved it, because I couldn’t yell at them lol. It’s annpying though.

Hi Nyxen, I have had it once not so long ago and I know what you mean about annoying. I was not sick at all but could hardly get a squeak out when I tried to talk Was terrible because my job is answering phones and making phone calls. I was lucky that it got a little better before the Monday. You are definately not weird.
