Jennifer Hudson

I feel so bad for Jennifer and her family and friends. It must be horrible to be experiencing what she is. I hope she can get through this and I hope the public is supportive.

I feel terrible for this aspiring, talented and young actress. What a horrifying thing for her and her family to go through. Don`t get me started on the gun laws (or any other U.S. laws)….lol I`d be here for hours 🙁

It really makes you appreciate the government that we are under even though it still has many issues in itself, it is a whole lot more civilised than America`s without a doubt I think. The fact that children can actually run and roam the streets and buy a gun because their rights say they can protect themselves is scary.

It is very tragic what happened. I am so glad our weapon laws here are much more controlled. In America you can pretty much just go to a convenience store and buy yourself a weapon. It`s a scary world we live in!!

So true apricot, all I can say is thank god our government has had some sense in the past – like when they banned automatic and semi-automatic guns after the port arthur massacre. Not that of course like you said, you can still get guns anyway, but at least you can`t walk into a kmart or big w and purchase guns and bullets like in the us!

And Australia is becoming so Americanised…when I was a kid a drive by was just that – driving by – now its got a whole new meaning, a bloody frightening meaning…its just far too common for my liking…and just because guns are illegal here in Aus, that doesnt mean squat – if you really want one the scary thing is that you could get one…I do feel for Jennifer Hudson its rotten, terrible, tragic………..Geez I could really rave on about this (more than I already have) but its way to depressing…

Sarah palin is a doosh. If john Mcain were elected then something happened to him and she would be in charge of the country, its safe to ay they would be in trouble! what is the americans obsession with guns anyway. i just feel so sorry for the children and mother who were killed, and all of the other people wh hav e been killed in similar circumstances and their families.

I honestly can`t see it happening – coz the people running for president most likely all grew up in the culture that dictates that it`s your right to bear arms, it`s all about self-protection, self-preservation etc. And if Sarah Palin is part of the NRA or whatever, please god don`t make her get in power!

what disappoints me is that no presidential candidate has addressed violent crimes in the US….

In terms of Jennifer Hudson and her family: my heart goes out to them this is such a tragic event to think of how brutal their murders were and I hope they can turn to people for support in these tough times and the same goes to many other family who have suffered similar losses. xx
