I’ve finally done it!

After checking out all the different hair straighteners I decided on a Diva. They also had a special at the moment which includes a hair protector serum/mist and a brush. I have put it on Lay-by and will get it for Chrissy from my hubby and children ……ooooooooh I can’t wait.

Hey Beauty Bee, well done, I have had mine for ages and love it. I paid $169 for mine but didn`t get the serum which is like $20. I saw them on Spacadia the other day here: “”Diva straightener””:http://www.spacadia.com.au/diva-professional-ceramic-styling-iron-black.html when I ordered some products, they give you the free serum too all for $139. I don`t really care that I paid more as I`ve had SO much use out of mine anyway.

That`s awesome beautybee – good to hear more great reviews about the diva! I`m definitely sold on it now – not going to bother buying one at the moment coz I really don`t straighten my hair much at all anymore – just my side fringe – so my current one is fine for that – but when I decide to do more straightening I`m 100% buying a diva – sooo can`t justify the funds on a GHD when I`ve heard so many people insist diva is just as good, if not better! I saw that deal too – that`s awesome hope you enjoy it! 🙂

Hi Pink Diva – I have been checking them all out for the last couple of months. I spoke to several hairdressers who have used both Diva and GHD and several said they would prefer the Diva. I got my Diva for $159 plus serum and brush as a bonus. The GHD was $289 and they are both so similar it doesn`t matter (both come from same manufacturer). I will let you know how it goes when I finally get it for Christmas. I can`t wait!

The Diva one sounds great!!, I found it difficult choosing a good hair straightner and theres just so many out there but I finally bought a remington salon pro slimline micro diamond hair straightener. It heats up to 230 degrees but I only set it on 160 because I find that is hot enough to do the job. It heats up in seconds, I would recommend it to someone with thick hair because with a higher heat setting it would work great on thick hair. OHH yeah and it only cost me $69 at Target.
    very happy with my purchase.
