Ideal length for clip in extensions …

Hey 🙂

In march I had my hair cut into a SUPER short pixie cut (well, it was MEANT to be a pixie cut – it was really just an over priced boy scout cut) and I have been growing it out since. My hair grows extremely fast, so now it is shoulder length at the back and past my ears at the sides. I’m interested in getting some nice clip in extensions for special nights out, etc, and as I’ve never used them, I was wondering if anyone here had and could give me advice, etc? Also I’m not sure if my hair is long enough yet … I could probably do it if I got them cut into layers so it looked more natural.

Thanks!

Hi FB – I worked with a girl who had short hair too (sounds maybe similar to the length of yours, but not sure exactly without seeing your hair) – but she was told hers was too short – you need enough hair to cover the join of the extensions – maybe go ask your hairdresser what your options are?
