I miss the original Herbal Essences :(

Yes I remember that one too…they have the pink classic and yellow herbal ranges back in at Woolies but I really liked the Fruit Fusions range (it smelled like mandarin and tropical fruits). There was also one in a green bottle that was called Triple Moisture or something. Such a shame they aren’t around now

I remember there was a pink jojoba conditioner of theirs that smelled AMAZING – dont think they kept it around 🙁

They brought the old ones back 🙂

The original Herbal Essence made my hair really oily, but yes they did smell divine. I haven’t tried the new stuff… how is it different? Less essential oils etc by the sound of it.

I totally agree, they all smelt so amazing and i definitely remember the one that smelt like roses, it had beautiful packaging too… but now it seems so generic and it just doesn’t seem as good as they were before 🙁 they don’t smell as nicely either

YES!!! They smelled so lovely! I loved getting them as a treat for myself.
Now they just look and promote themselves as another SunSilk, it’s really annoying.
As the name suggests, they used to smell more floral I think, from memory.
I do agree with the anti-frizz though, I was wondering why my scalp was more itchy than normal!

I never use Herbal Essences fruity shampoos or conditioners. I always found them so drying for my hair, it was left feeling brittle and knotty. I have used the Curl shampoo, conditioner, mousse and spray. They’re OK, I like the mousse but the rest are just OK.

This is so true!! I used to use herbal essence a lot. Now I’ve stopped buying their products. I hate it when brands turn their original products into many different variations and none of them are as good as the original
