Beautyheaven, is it possible to ask your techie person to automatically control someone’s avatar size as we keep on having this problem with huge avatars? Thank you.

SQ, you can still post a reply. Copy and paste into word to read the posts, then click the “”reply to topic”” in the browser and type the response as usual.
I can`t even tell if there are any oversize ones left because I`ve fudged around it as I mentioned before. If anyone from BH is reading, the simple solution is to remove the “”width=”” and “”height=”” parameters for avatars from the web page source. The images will then display at the correct size. What I`ve done on my computer is to filter those parameters out before it gets to my browser and it works perfectly.

Yeah its good that members have become mroe aware so it happens less and causes less forum problems.

Yeah i think most people realised how big they were and quickly fixed them. At the mo there is only two i can think of that are to big, which is soo much less then previous times!

It is a quicker way though, Its gotten better though I dont see many large avatars around anymore, only the occasional few which get changed pretty fast.

hey i just realised something with peoples massive pictures. everyone probably everyone already knows but i will say it anyway. If you highlight the members name and their posts and everything, then keep dragging the mouse to the side and end of the page and then copy it, you can paste it into word and the text will come up( as well as their picture and everything! lol) It is a long and boring way to get round it but it is a bit easier than changing all your format and everything, just until those with larger avatars can reduce them. but then you still cant post a reply so i dont know..

Wow your husband sized it for you really well, its not blurry or anything. Did he use the website that was recommended on BH or a different way?

I have never known the differences between the two actually, havent thought about it that much. I use Internet Explorer however and I find it works great, no problems and it is very easy to use and I find it is extremely quick. Elmo`s right you can do tab broswing on internet explorer now, I actually love that added feature so at the bottom it dosent show all the links you have up and different sites, its alot more convenient with tabs I find.

I prefer Firefox over Internet Explorer. Firefox there`s cool themes, short cuts and its safer than Internet Explorer, according to my computer nerd friend. I find Firefox loads faster than Internet Explorer, it starts up for 3 secs while IE starts up for 30 secs.
