How to soothe/treat a rash?

Yesterday I applied some sunscreen basically all over, and today I woke up with an all over rash! It’s the worst on my cheeks, neck, ears and decolletage, but it’s all on my arms and legs too! It’s quite itchy as well. I haven’t had an allergic reaction to sunscreen since I was a kid, so I’m not sure exactly what I should do.

Any tips?

Antihistamine might clear it up. Also anaesthetic cream can help rid the pain. You can buy that at the chemist.

You could try Avene spring water spray stuff to soothe? I use it after hair removal, if I have a rash etc and it does help soothe it.

No worries, although my kids don’t get nappy rashes much any more because they only wear them at night, this stuff is fantastic for all sorts of things including chafe, and it includes vitamins and essential fatty acids that really soothe irritation. Castor oil is the main ingredient and the second on the list is zinc so there must be a good quantity of zinc for it to be second on the ingredient list 🙂 also lots of essential oils, I love this stuff 🙂

Yes it is me who doesn’t like chemicals but I’m not fussed just to use something a few times like when I have a rash! But I will also check that natural stuff out – thanks mel!
