how do you find a great salon?

How did/does everyone find a great salon when they move or are interstate??

recently i was interstate on business and desperately needed to have my hair trimmed and styled…i found a nice looking salon very clean and the staff seemed to know what they were doing….i only had my hair styled and was very dissapointed with the result. i have also had a nightmare eye brow wax when i first moved, i went into a busy well known professional salon and ended up with uneven ugly eye brows.

so how do you find a salon…..what do you look for?

go ask some people and see where they go and their recommendations. or if your brave go and try it yourself!

I use to move annually purely to change, I asked my neighbours and watched local salons eventually I found a salon who knows how to cut strong hair well.

I found my hairdresser by asking my friends who they go to. I have also read up about different hairdressers over the internet and many people are willing to share their experiences.
