How do you apply eyeshadow to non-creased lids?

Sadly I don’t have eye-lid creases to help as a guide on how to apply eyeshadow. What’s more, sometimes it just looks ridiculous! Should I just forgo eye shadow completely, or is there a way to apply eyeshadow to non-creased lids? Help!

If you want to forego eyeshadow altogether, you can still have sexy eyes by using bold eyeliner and mascara, like the actresses used to have in the 60`s and 70`s.

Find a nice neutral shadow to suit your skin tone and apply to the entire lid, next get a darker shade – maybe a nice smoky colour and apply from about mid way along your lash line and blend to the outer corners of your lash line, working slightly up and out on the very edges, blend evenly. Lastly use a highlighting colour on your brow bone (just under your brow) Lashings of mascara and you should be set to go.
Look at celebrities with the same eye shape and practice their look.
