How do i use a curling wand?!

I recently recieved the VS Sassoon Waves and Curls Salon Styler. I have no idea how to use the Triple Barrel styler. I am dying to perfect it but each time I have used it, all that seems to happens is it makes a total mess of my hair. Anyone know how to use this Triple Barrel to create wavy hair?!?

Maybe you need to get a higher quality wand or somehow turn the heat up.

Thanks for that tip Figmentos, hadn`t thought of trying that. Will def give it a go next time I curl my hair =) I think the problem is that curling makes the ends of my hair dry so I guess dampening them a bit would help

maybe you could try dampening the ends with a facewasher, it will cause a bit of steam but it should help
