hiding his feet, yellow nails

my partner and i have been together 3 years and hes always been really self conscious about his feet. Always keeps them in socks and hates me looking at them only cuts his toenails when im not around, etc.
His toenails are all a bit yellow especially big toes and dont think its discolouration like you bleach in other post, dont know if its fungal or something my guess would be its caused by feet always being in socks and not aired etc but does anyone know what this could be or what treatments there might be. I thought if I could fix that he might be a bit less self-concious about the feet fingers crossed lol.

See a podiatrist or GP to sort it out. He may have to take meds for it or use a topical treatment. Hopefully it gets better soon!

Sounds as though it is tinea which is treatable don`t want to sound icky lol…tinea is an infectious disease which if not cautious will spread to every pair of socks and shoes one owns and worse to you!

If he is too shy to visit a podiatrist or GP visit your local chemist the pharmacist is experienced in assessing many ailments and will provide an over the counter remedy.

Hiding his feet will soon be a thing of the past and for his efforts reward him with foot balms, sprays and even a foot massage from you!

    Good luck!

It could be a fungal infection, from as you said his feet being in socks and shoes all the time! Feet need to be aired out just like any other part of the body! LOl. Try and make him go to the doc or podiatrist or someone like that to get a proper diagnosis because it could be a lot of things. And tell him to walk barefoot in salt water at the beach a few times it is really good for your feet and infections if that is what it is, tell him to take a towel so he can dry them off and cover them up as soon as he is done! hehe. i hope thats useful
