My two month old is a thumb sucker. I’ve tried buying him a couple of dummies but doesn’t want to have a bar of them.

LOL he doesn’t need a dummy when he got all he needs right there 24/7 haha 😉

Haha yeah that is true….but dummies are so different and i think charlotte used them more as you use them to calm them down but they stay in there so much longer with the thumb she only puts it in for a second these days she is slowly weening herself. which is good 🙂

We had used that brand too… was a worry about the recall, my son was quite good when we switched brands though. It could really happen to any dummy’s just have to check them each time

My kids just got to the stage when they got teeth that they would rip them to shreds anyway, and still want to put that busted up thing in their mouth, lol. My son was the worse literally had shreds out of his, but my daughter mostly just deflated hers so that it was as flat as a tack, haha.

Happy baby dummies are defintiely much stronger after the recall. Isaac used to deflate his in about 2 weeks. He has now had some of his dummies for about 3 months and not one has deflated…and he has plenty of teeth to do damage – he already has 15 teeth (thank goodness he weaned himself!!).

I have used them numerous times and have found them to be great. I always chop and change but more often than anything I use the cheapest ones I can get at the time. We are forever replacing them as they are constantly going missing. I would love to know how dummies just disappear into thin air never to be seen again, but the amount that have gone from here over the last few years is incredible, haha.

ts incredible isn’t…my theory is that our kids stash them somewhere for the day that we take them away. When happy baby first came back on the shelves i rushed out and bought 20 so that i would have spares. I opened 5 and put away the other 15…within a fortnight I only had 5 left in their packets and I could only find 3 that were on the go (Isaac needs one plug for his mouth plus one for each cand to clack together!!). But then suddenly the other day there were 9 on the floor in his room…he must have hidden them then got them out of hiding when he could reach his on the go ones!

Haha yep I am almost positive my two hide them from me because it keeps me in their room longer while I am trying to look for them. Whenever I get the chance to do a major cleanup in their room the dummy’s all start turning up. When I need one desperately though there is none to be found, haha.
