Hair straightener for straight hair?

Hey girls

I have straight hair, its just above my shoulders. Its normal thickness, not too fine and not too thick.
I am thinking of buying a cheap straightener. I am just wondering, if my hair is naturally straight what can i actually do with the straightener? Will it make my hair look better overall?
Just need some tips!

    i bought a remington slim line ceramic.teflon straightener yesterday from harvey norman-$43.95.
    I love it!! I had it recommended to me buy a few people. At the moment i can`t afford a GHD but the remington one is quite good to be honest, i`d highly recommend it.
    I am searching youtube for ideas on how to make my hair interesting with the staightener, youtube is very helpful for tutorials.

    After I use the straightener I use Schwarzkopf Extra Care Zero Frizz Perfectly Straight at the moment, but any similar product would do the same job.

    Yes it make hair look heaps better. I have straight hair but it tends to get pretty frizzy. If I use a hair straightener it stays slick for hours.
