hair nightmare!!

Some please help me, i need advice desperately! ok well for a while now ive been using supermarket shampoos and conditioners, such as pantene pro-v for coloured hair, ive also tried charles worthington from priceline and nothing is helping my annoying hair.it is greasy, flaky at the scalp, and looks dirty and greasy even when its freshly washed, and i m at my wits end.i even went to my hairdresser for help and i purchased redken oil detox on her reccomendation, used it that very night, even washed my hair twice with it,put my conditioner nowhere near my ends and when it finally dried,it looked the same(read-awful) yet even worse if possible.

what do i do now??? by the way i have a semi permanent colour in my hair at the moment thats starting to fade so do i need something for colour or my oilyness and flakyness? thanks, sorry this post is so long

Try something natural – Alchemy is a fabulous Australian brand. Good pricing too

Do you wash your hair every day? It may be the problem, your hair might just be stressed out

my hair is oily at roots but the rest is fine. I was told by a hairdresser to never use Pantene as it strips your hair. I use the Frutice oily roots, dry ends shampoo and find it great. I also use the ORGANIX range (available at Coles and Priceline) – these are natural products with the most gorgeous fragrances. I also use the dry shampoo and find it does soak up some of the oiliness. I have alos used vinegar too

They do seem to suit all hair types though – my housemate and I both love them – and she has normal hair with oily roots, whereas I have very dry hair. I just add a mask or leave in conditioner after using them for extra moisture.

Thanks melmeko, which one do you use for oily hair? Is it the shampoo and conditioner? I`ve found a stockist near me, I`ll be heading there soon!
