Hair Loss
Hi beauties!
Lately I noticed that I’m shedding a lot more hair than I used to. I mean whenever I was my hair, there are literally clumps of hair when I wash/rinse off the conditioner. There are heaps of hair everywhere around the house too. I’m getting a little worried here!
Any tips/suggestions as to why and what I should do?
Thanks!

Have you tried to look into your family tree? Is there any grandmother’s, or close relatives who suffered early hair loss problem? If does, then maybe you need to visit hair doctor. This condition is what is called androgenetic alopecia. As much as this condition sound fancy, it is a nightmare because this will be displayed by thinning on the hair line and most of the time it occurs over the entire head.

Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) is a common ingredient in shampoos, it’s in over 90% of brands. (eg. Pantene, Sunsilk, Garnier) It causes hair loss. It’s used in industrial cleaners in fact!
If you already haven’t done so,
I would definatley change your shampoo to a natural one like Organic Care from Woolworths (only $3.50) or Alchemy which is a more expensive one found in health shops. I used to lose heaps of hair
when I used SLS shampoos and now I don’t. My mum swears by SLS free shampoos and so do I. We were advised by someone years ago so changed over and now we have our own proof. Is sodium laureth sulfate the same thing? Because that’s what my current shampoo contains and I’ve been experiencing more hair loss then usual

I lost a lot of hair when i got some dodgy hair extensions done in 2009. As stupid as it sounds, i was told to make my own hair mask and use it twice a week, and i grew my hair back plus more in around 3 months.
Recipe i was given:
*1/4 cup of beer (if you can get Guinness or Boddingtons they are even better than normal beer)
*2 tablespoons of honey (organic is ‘supposed’ to be better but i didn’t)
*1 tablespoon of olive oil
*Half a banana
*1 egg yolk beaten
then rub it in for ages, and put a shower cap on.. rinse with warm water. I used super hot water the first time and i think the egg cooked a bit lol.. seemed to work, give it a go twice a week xoxo

At the start of the year my hair started falling out in clumps. I could lose 50 hairs by just running 1 hand through my hair once. In the shower is just fell out. I was losing so much hair it was crazy. When I first went to the doctor I was told I had alopecia and was told to try regaine… This just purely burnt my scalp and nothing else.
I went to another doctor and naturopath to find out it was related to stomach problems I was having.
Any treatment can take 3 months for results to start. Because the dead hair could just be sitting there and not fall out for 2-3 months. I just have to wait, but since starting the new treatment the hair loss has dramatically decreased.
I was also told not to put my hair back too tight. By pulling your hair back regurlarly into a tight bun or ponytail you are putting strain on your hair follicles and eventually those follicles won’t produce hair.
But good luck to everyone who is going through hair loss, I hope you find the cause and a solution =) -

I think that it may be due to stress. Take some time off and relax every now and then.

Great hair is seen by many as a sign of youth. It is also considered a woman’s “crown of glory”. In our society where image is everything, having great hair is a need especially when your job deals with working with other people. If you are going through hair loss for any reason, consult a doctor right away. If you think hair transplant is the best route to take, then go ahead. Millions of people – both men and women – have benefit from this technique. Don’t deprive yourself from looking great. Visit your doctor and have a talk about the best hair transplant technique that would suit your needs.

Recently a friend of mine recommended that I should check out a new brand called Advangen. I bought the shampoo for me and the scalp lotion for my boyfriend, and it is the best buy I’ve ever done.
My hair looks healthier, is clearly stronger and grows beautifully. This shampoo is so luxurious, pearlescent and rich.
After 3 weeks, my boyfriend’s hair had clearly stop falling. It’s week 6 and he has new growth on the back of his head and on the receeding lines. All of that with natural ingredients and it is scientifically validated.
Definitely worth every penny and there is enough shampoo in the bottle to last at least 3 months.
