GROWN Skincare
Has anybody heard of this brand? Or used it? I saw it yesterday in a chemist. I tried the hand cream and it was really nice. I’d love to hear what others think of this brand. I was tempted to buy some products, but they didn’t have brochure for me to peruse – or any samples. The website is http://www.grown.net.au (it’s currently under construction) I think it’s an organic brand.

Thanks Missteaddict. No worries, I had to share because it`s such a good deal. I`ve read lots of great reviews of both the hand cream & lip balm and I love their body cream. Just letting any fans of Grown Alchemist know about an awesome promotion running at the moment. On their website is a 12 days of Christmas promotion where each day you can receive a new free gift with any order placed on their website. Today is day 8 and is a free 300ml hand cream worth $39.95 with any purchase. Also, shipping is free in Australia. I`ve kept a keen eye on their deals and this is their best one yet.
I purchased a lip balm for $19.95, got the hand cream worth $39.95 for free & got a free 12ml sample of a new day cream too. Bargain! Can`t wait to receive them, it`s going to be my little Christmas gift to myself.
Just enter Day8 in the coupon code part when you check out and the free hand cream will be added to your order. Their website is http://www.grownalchemist.com (sorry, couldn`t get the hyperlink working)
(and sorry for reviving a dead thread, I swear there was a more recent one but I couldn`t find it)

I think you are right about Grown products being all that they say they are. I have been using them for over a year now and absolutely love them! I`ve had no problems at all. I am quite skeptical when I find a new product, so when I found Grown I did some research to see if they could live up to their all natural, organic, non animal tested claims and they do. Whats more, they are incredibly ethical with their recyclable packaging and Australian sourced ingredients. I think this is a brand that not only looks good but is good all round and can back it up. I`m so grateful that there are companies out there who are committed to helping us look and feel good, but also doing the right thing by the environment. Good on them 🙂

I just bought this hand cream because I read about it on a blog. And I just love it!! It smells devine and I have my doubts whether it isnt an all natural product because if you go to their website, they stress they are organic and that they are an all natural product. This is my current fav hand cream, and I am just addicted to the lovely orange creme brule smell!

If you like the product then you don`t have to stop using it at all. I am sure alot of my products are not organic either, far from it actually. I am not fussed on missleading companies though, and I won`t be using Grown anymore because it is not readily available to me anymore and it is not something I would go out of my way to use, thats all 🙂

wow i didnt know that grown wasnt all that natural! i have the shampoo, facewash and handcream which i think is great, but i guess these days companies will go to great lengths to get customers buying their so called “”natural”” products.

The one thing that is regulated is to have the `certified organic` label on there they have to stick to guidelines.
People need to remember though, just because something is natural, doesn`t always mean it`s better. Natural ingredients can be just as problematic as synthetic.
