Allyr81 if the hickey looking thing doesn`t disappear maybe go to the chemist and ask for an anti inflammatory cream or if necessary a cortisone cream. Try to keep the area as dry as possible from sweat etc as this will help reduce the inflammation.
    hope this helps!

Ouch! I too have been bruised from waxing, it`s really painful isn`t it? Like princess says, arnica will help the bruise to go away quickly.

it sounds more like a bruise to me. sometimes on the more sensitive areas you can get bruising if the wax doesn`t come off as clean as it should.
i used to get that all the time under my arms if i did them at home, until i got the Andrea Brazilllian wax kit for the trial team. it`s really good under there.
i`ve currently got one on the back of my knee where i waxed my legs yesturday, it`s a big dark bruise and yes it hurt when i did it, i knew it would leave a mark. use ice and arnica cream to reduce the bruising. 🙂

It could also be that you didn`t pull you skin tight enough when you pulled the wax off or you didn`t pull the wax off as close to the skin as possible, I`ve seen that happen a few times before!
