foundation for really oily skin

Hi, any suggestions from those with really oily skin? Tried everything (really!) and even the ultra matte makeups look like an oil slick by morning tea time. Thank you

    Can you still do it???!

I have really oily skin too – so I feel your fustration!. After many years seaching I discovered the estee lauder range of products for oily skin – I know they are expensive and that originally tuned me off too, but buying online (from US) saves a HUGE amount – I can get 3 products (inc. post) for what we pay for one in Oz.
I find these are great as a skin regime and have had a effect on the oil. I use blotting papers and a powder by Clearskin – which is fab (but unfortunately can`t seem to buy in Oz anymore – typical!).
I also find the sally hansen spray foundation is light enough too.

I have oily skin too and I am also a beauty therapist. I find that with the right skin care and a primer for oily skin keeps any shine under control. Excessive sebum can be a result of using incorrect cleanser so try to switch to product line for oily skin, this will help control most of the shine itself. Also use any oil free products where possible. A mineral powder is really good for oily skin as it blends with and absorbs any excess oil. Also try a power to liquid foundation or a combination of oil free liquid with a matte powder or a loose setting powder. Personally I use Neutrogena skin care, Body Shop gel primer for oily skin, Covergirl liquid mineral foundation with a MAC pressed powder or Nude mineral powder over the top. Use blotting papers when necessary and re apply powder if needed. I hope this helps you xx.

for oily skin i find mineral powder is the best option. I love revlon colorstay with maybelline loose powder over the top but i always need a blotting paper or two throughout the day!!
