    Same ray-jay – I start over once a week.

I don’t have a problem shaving then fake tanning straight away personally, it’s what I always do!

Yeah good one bucket. I wax/ epilator my legs a few days before because with tanning and these hair removals you are more prone to dots.
After about 3-4 days even with gradual tanners I start to get streaky, as my skin is starting to peel off so I like to scrub then too just to even it up before I put more on

No I didn’t mean scrub the whole tan off and start again. That would be worthless would it not? A bit of lemon juice to get streaks off helps aswell.
And I also mean don’t shave in the same day as tanning either melmeko. I think if you shave just before you tan or just after is what accentuates the dots on your legs.
Anyway it’s just what I do and I don’t seem to have any problems.

LOL I read it wrong and thought Bucket was saying she scrubbed the whole tan off again straight away, LOL.

Yeah thats exactly what I do Elmo. I guess thats what I think Bucket is saying?

I actually found out that if you use bicarbo of soda on a wet wash cloth you can just remove extra tan on hands, elbows and feet, gentle and wont take it all off, just lightens it

If I notice colour has build up a little on knees/ankles/elbows I’ll scrub lightly to lessen it – but never all over? But I still always exfoliate and shave before tanning?

Oh ok so you are only meaning to exfoliate it off in the areas that you don’t want the tan to be, it makes more sense then, lol.

I think I understand what you are saying Bucket- I would say it ends up removing it all-because after I tan I scrub. But I scrub my feet, and hands or anywhere I have too much to remove it?

But normally when you exfoliate you remove the whole tan, it doesn’t stay on when you scrub it??
Also you if you have to shave like me then you have to do it the night before you apply the tan so that your skin has settled down, never shave on the same day that you apply your tan 🙂

It’s not a hard exfoliate off. Using a loofah to go over the skin. I do it so that the tan doesn’t streak as much. Fine I might not be as brown as others but it definitely looks more nature and streak free. And I don’t get the shaving dots anymore either.
The point is…don’t shave BEFORE u tan.
