Face Mask

I’ve tried many. many different masks (including super expensive ones!), but I really highly rate the QV one for deep cleansing. It is clay based, so deep cleanses, but it is not drying like some clay masks can be. I have been using it a couple of times a week for a few months now and am very happy with it still. I am in my early 30’s, with sensitive skin and a slightly oily t-zone.

BB if you don’t mind paying a quite a bit for quality I can certainly mention the Eminence range for a mask – I tried it a couple of times and it was amazing for my skin! Pricey though!

Mel & PF I also can vouch for the MD Formulations range – gorgeous effective products! That Skinceuticals one sounds awesome too!

Roxy I’ve tried the Dermalogica Purifying mask which is great I agree too! I think it did help to prevent breakouts on me. The Murad’s Clarifying Mask also sounds a treat and really useful and effective from what you say here.

I agree with Melmeko that it may help if you give us some more information on what you need, including your skin type and concerns.

A very good mask that I use at present is Murad’s clarifying mask. I use it once a week and find that it cleanses really well and helps to prevent break outs. My skin is normal to dry but I occasionally get hormonal break outs. It is not drying and my skin feels very smooth and soft. In addition to this mask I use Dermalogica’s hydrating mask to address hydration. x

I agree Meln the MD formulations ones are great – Im currently using the cleanser and the face & body scrub and absolutely loving it. Once I have cleared out some of all the stuff I have stached I want to try more of their products..

I think if you want a really deep pore cleansing mask a glycolic one would be the way to go. My favourite are the MD Formulations ones, they have them for all types of skin and they also offer benefits such as illuminating (love that one) but not really sure what you mean by cleanse deeply, so if it is one that your chasing that really draws out impurities and clears congestion, the glycolic will work well but I also like to use clay masks for this, the most effective one I have found is the Skinceuticals Clarifying Clay Mask, this is awesome at getting all of the gunk out of my pores, I can vertually see it coming out while its working. The best thing about this one is that is isn’t drying at all like many other clay versions I have tried. Let us know what exactly you mean and I might be able to think of some other suggestions 🙂
