Definitely loving Magda`s suggestion of Laura Mercia Eye Basics I don`t think I would bother with anything else, have been using this for months now and its ideal 🙂
I also love eye basics! I use linen which is quite a light colour, it really holds shadows in place though.

I posted this in the “”eye makeup problems”” thread but it seem worthwhile posting it here to.
I absolutely love Too Faced Shadow Insurance too. This comes in four types and depends on what you want your eyeshadow primer to do.
1. Original formula – light natural colour that evens out skintone.
2. Candelight – gilded luminous formula that imparts illumination/brightening effect.
3. Glitter Glue – colourless cream formula that locks down glitters and loose shimmers.
4. Lemon Drop (NEW for US Fall 2011) – lemon yellow colour corrective that neutralises redness and rudiness.
Ideally avoid moisturising the lid of the eye, just apply primer and allow to dry completely before applying shadow. I find in summer a light dusting of pressed powder over the primer before I apply the shadow helps set everything in place for longer. Thanks for the explanation! Shopping on Kit`s website right now and was a bit confused as to what Lemon Drop meant haha 😛

I`ve been thinking of getting an eye primer, but i`m not sure which one, the two faced one seemed to have got a few mentions here
I got the two faced one off ebay for a good price, you only need a teeny amount. I use it for night looks and I find it really helps to eliminate creasing and my shadow stays in place all night long.
