Ever had a waxy crown?

I have! Yes beauties, if you’ve ever used Pantene for too long (or even VO5 as I’ve heard), it’s possible to get a really waxy, greasy looking build-up right on the crown of your head, yuck!
I’ve been there, done that, no dermatologist or doctor is going to make me feel like a mad woman!
THERE IS A SOLUTION! and it’s super easy! and it works!
Redwin Tea Tree Oil Shampoo (available at Coles and Priceline), is a godsend!
If it’s particularly stubborn, use a capful or two of some original Listerine (weird I know), on top of the shampoo, let it sit for a few minutes and then rinse out thoroughly, but it really does work!!

Even now if I so much as use a Pantene shampoo even once, I get the build up, so it’s straight to Coles for the Redwin and hey presto, I’m back to lovely, healthy, shiny hair!
Yay!

This one’s even beaut for just a weekly shampoo, just to really clean out all the products from the week.

Please tell me I’m not the only beauty here who’s had this problem, haha!

That’s handy to know. I think I have had that a couple of times. I just jumped straight in the shower and washed it all over again with my Pantene. (defeating the purpose??) Next time I’ll know.

    I have this problem tooo!!:)

Is this solution also suitable for oily roots?

    xx

Should be! That shampoo is pretty good at really stripping out all the dirt and oil, so you need a good conditioner to follow.
It’s pH balanced, and has anti-fungal and antiseptic properties (bonus!).
Plus it’s only about $4 something, yay!
