Ella Bache

Hi Girls! Has anyone used any of the Ella Bache foundations before? I am wanting to try one but thought I’d hear some reviews first.

I`ve only used Sunguard and Sunbase, not the rest of the skincare range. Caution: if you`re allergic to lanolin, don`t use the Sunguard.

I`ve been using them about a year and love it, doesn`t irritate my combo skin, doesn`t make my oily bits oilier. They can be thick and heavy if you apply too much. The key is to warm them up first (on the back of your hand or on clean fingers) before applying with fingers SPARINGLY. Then pat translucent powder on top to prevent them sliding off your face. I`ve used it both in tropical and dry weather, they work well for me. Everyone`s skin is different, so try first before you buy it. Go to their counter and ask them for samples to try.

I have had bad experiences with EB (when I worked for them… but I wont go into that entirely!) I found their products too greasy and gave me pimples, and some of their moisturisers gave me allergic reactions! They may be suitable for a very dry skin though.
